    CDL Driver Class A

     

    Ultimate LLC is **immediately hiring CDL Drivers** for civil projects in the **Curtis Bay,** **MD** area. The pay range is **$35 - $40** per hour based on experience. All **CDL Drivers** are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen.

    Job Duties:

    + Properly collect and load stock with or without the use of equipment

    + Deliver stock within assigned deadline

    + Follow safety procedures on the road and while loading / unloading

    + Ensure equipment meets OSHA standards

    + Use GPS and communicate with supervisors to stay informed on routes

    + Additional labor in between stops.

    + Supports foreman and supervisor with the transportation of parts and equipment to the job site

    + Ensures that the truck is properly inspected (pre-trip inspection), prior to daily departures in accordance with D.O.T. 's rules and regulations

    + Has the knowledge and complies with all the safety regulations stated in the Federal Motor Safety Regulations manual Parts 382,383,390-397, U.S. D.O.T., Federal Highway Administration

    + Ensures all loads are properly secure prior to and during transportation

    + Participates in all company training when applicable

    + Maintains a safety conscious focus at all times

    + Strives to further skills

    Qualifications:

    + Good driving record

    + D.O.T. medically certified physically fit under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation 49 CFR 391.41 - 391.49

    + 24 hour HAZWOPER training

    + Reliable Personal Vehicle

    Ultimate CDL Driver Requirements

    + **2-5** years of Operating experience

    + Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

    + Must have basic hand tools to perform trade

    + Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance

    + Drug Test Required - DOT Pre Employment

    + Background Check Required - Driver Record, Criminal Record & FMCSA Clearinghouse Check

    + DOT Medical Card Required
