• Data Scientist Advanced Analytics

    CTG is seeking to fill a Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

     

    **Location:** Dallas, TX

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Duties:

    + Develop and implement advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business problems.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful insights.

    + Design and execute experiments, perform causal inference, and apply statistical methodologies to drive data-driven decision-making.

    + Build and deploy scalable data pipelines and predictive models using modern MLOps frameworks.

    + Present findings and visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

    + Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices and the development of a robust analytics infrastructure.

    Skills:

    + Programming Languages: Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels) and/or R

    + Machine Learning/Deep Learning Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras

    + Forecasting Libraries: Prophet, Statsmodels

    + Data Warehousing & Big Data Technologies: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks, S3, ADLS

    + Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP

    + MLOps Tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

    + Data Visualization Tools: Tableau, Power BI

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical inference, experimental design, and causal inference

    + Solid mathematical foundation in machine learning algorithms

    Experience:

    + Proven experience applying advanced analytics and machine learning to real-world business problems

    + Hands-on experience in deploying production-grade models and pipelines in cloud environments

    + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

    + Background in interpreting and communicating complex technical results to varied audiences

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. PhD preferred but not required.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
