    Equitable Advisors’ Talent Development team is seeking a Program Manager, Advisor Journey, to build and lead training programs and coaching engagements that enhance how Financial Professionals guide clients on their holistic financial plans.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    + As a player-coach, connect and collaborate with team members including coaches and project managers who organize programs to choreograph a consistent, world-class advisor training and development experience.

    + Co-create the content strategy for Equitable Advisors training alongside other coaches and program managers, spanning early career to experienced advisors; synthesize and build workshops, playbooks, curricula and leader toolkits based upon field needs.

    + Design campaigns to engrain the advisor journey into every training and coaching touchpoint with financial professionals, so that advisors clearly understand what practice-building experiences are the best fit for them based on their tenure and goals.

    + Lead the implementation of goals-based planning, including marketing and adoption of our consistent client experience and holistic financial planning approach.

    + Liasson with solutions partners to choreograph product and advanced concept training for Equitable Advisors.

    + Serve as in-house facilitator of training offerings, especially for early career advisors, including helping leaders coach their new advisors on developing natural markets, cold calling approaches, and business planning.

    + Partner with multiple field advisory committees to ensure connectedness with Equitable Advisors’ leaders and community.

    + Measure the impact and continually improve training programs. Analyze data to determine advisors’ practice development needs and leverage findings to build additional training to fill gaps.

    + Periodically assist colleagues in review of Columbia University Credentialed Holistic Financial Coach graduation videos, serving as backup to peers for entire suite of advisor development experiences.

     

    The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    + 5 years working alongside or as a financial professional

    + FINRA Series 7 registration, or Series 6 and willingness to obtain Series 7 registration within 12 months of hire

    + Strong proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Financial planning business acumen

    + Exceptional project management skills

    + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    + While many of the offerings are delivered virtually, there are conferences, events and in-person trainings that necessitate travel about 1-2 times per month or as needed

    + Coaching designation or formal training in coaching highly desired or to obtain within 12 months of hire

    **Organizational Change Management:** Knowledge of key roles, activities and major issues affecting change management; ability to align the organization's people and culture with changes in business strategy, organizational structure, technology and business processes.

    **Project Management:** Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
