Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will supervise housekeeping team members and ensure cleanliness of the facility to maintain our culture of high standards and enhance the guest experience.

What will you do?

+ Hire and manage all room, house, and public area team members; provide training to team members on a regular basis; identify areas of improvement and efficiency

+ Ensure stay-over and vacant attendant service is consistently performed by room attendants

+ Inspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure quality and safety standards are met

+ Demonstrate proper use of cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces

+ Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements

More about you

+ 1+ year of housekeeping experience at a resort or hotel

+ Supervisor or management experience

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills

+ No college degree required

+ Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical requirements

+ Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties

+ Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

+ Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
