This Monday through Friday position offers a consistent 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule—with no weekends or holidays required, so you can enjoy work-life balance while making a difference in patient care.
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you'll play a vital role by answering phones, scheduling appointments efficiently, and providing front desk support. We're looking for candidates with outstanding communication skills and a welcoming demeanor. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred, but most importantly, we value a commitment to high-quality service and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:
+ Verify patient information and medical records in the scheduling system.
+ Schedule, coordinate, and reschedule patient appointments while relaying messages to staff and providers.
+ Greet and register patients promptly and politely, providing directions and performing check-in and check-out procedures.
+ Maintain a clean and organized waiting area, including beverage and reading materials.
+ Prepare patient charts in advance for upcoming appointments.
+ Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, and provide accurate information to callers.
+ Maintain and update physician schedules to ensure proper appointment coordination and confirmation.
+ Complete paperwork such as encounter forms and referrals, and use systems for billing, charge entry, and co-payment reconciliation.
Required:
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ One (1) year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
Preferred:
+ Knowledge of medical terminology.
+ Word processing and computer experience.
+ Customer service skills/experience.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Act 34
