Position Description

Serco is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Principal Military Trainer – Sustainment Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In this key role, you will work within Operations Group Juliet (OPSGRP-J) to support collective training requirements for Army Special Operations units, contributing to the development and evaluation of sustainment planning and execution in simulated tactical and operational environments.

In this role, you will:

+ Provide direct support to the OPSGRP-J Sustainment Warfighting Function Chief.

+ Develop and produce graphic products for After Action Reviews (AARs), Mission Command Training Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and briefings.

+ Analyze exercise observations aligned to tactical and operational levels of warfare.

+ Research and ensure training conformity with current U.S. Joint and Army doctrine, policies, and procedures.

+ Maintain proficiency in Special Operations Force – Conventional Force Interdependence, Integration, and Interoperability (SOF-CFI3).

+ Lead planning teams for the preparation, documentation, and execution of contractor-supported MCTP exercises and OPSGRP-J activities.

+ Support AAR analysis, product development, and assist the Senior Analyst in completing deliverables.

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of professional/military experience, or Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.

+ Completion of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College or service equivalent.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance.

+ Familiarity with Army/Joint Sustainment and Special Operations Forces doctrine.

+ Experience with simulation-based Army training and scenario development.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

To be successful in this role, you will have:

+ Expertise in sustainment planning and operations.

+ Demonstrated success in managing exercise planning and training events.

+ Strong analytical, communication, and briefing skills.

Additional desired experience and skills:

+ Experience serving as Battalion or Brigade S-3.

+ U.S. Military SOF background.

+ Graduate degree.

+ Brigade or higher staff officer experience.

+ Hands-on experience assembling and delivering Army AARs.
