    Job Summary: The Product Cost Analyst is primarily responsible for providing costing support and analytics for all facilities with an emphasis on our stamping and specialty roll-forming operations.

     

    The position reports to the Cost Accounting Manager and has future career progression opportunities both in Accounting and Finance.

     

    Key Responsibilities: • Learn the costing module on the new ERP system including how to create parts and set up BOM and routers• Prepare various reports to assist with review and analysis of inventory costs and inventory variances• Reviews aged inventory and slow-moving inventory, initiates discussions with the plant for proper disposition• EDI invoice matching in current ERP system• Tracking inventory and costs at third parties for our stamping business• Review of aged receiving records for proper resolution• Support the Cost Accounting Manager with preparation of capital projects• Calculate inventory cost for our copper products• Prepare and review labor and overhead standards on a quarterly basis• Month end closing support and schedule prep• Assistance with ad hoc projects as necessary

    Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles• 1 – 3 years of prior experience in a similar capacity

    Starting Pay

     

    $70,000-$105,000
