Qualifications you’ll bring:
+ Current unrestricted licensure (MD or DO) in any US state
+ Eligible for licensure (MD or DO) in New York State and Vermont
+ Board Certified in any ABMS-certified primary care or specialty practice
+ NYS Health, Life and Accident licensure TBD
+ Minimum of 15 years in clinical practice with evidence of leadership excellence.
+ 3-5 years of experience in a managed care environment preferred.
+ 3-5 years of health care related business development experience required
+ Knowledge of utilization and care management operations and alignment of these operational areas with other key stakeholders.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills for function in a highly matrixed environment.
+ Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with physicians in practice and facility staff.
+ Ability to effectively use the computer.
+ Ability to critically evaluate and research the medical literature.
+ Knowledge of quality improvement including HEDIS, STAR, CAHPS measures.
+ Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth.

Your key responsibilities:
+ Provide Medical Director support to Mid-Hudson providers in collaboration with Provider Engagement, Sales and MVP’s JV partner Belong Health. Specifically align Quality, Engagement and Growth with key providers and providers that are not currently engaged with.
+ Provide Medical Director leadership and support to Mid-Hudson Provider strategies including the advancement of Payvider strategies and VBC.
+ Identify marketing opportunities amongst clinical partners and providers where MVP can standout and collaborate on growth.
+ Be the clinical liaison to Belong on the Provider side in Mid-Hudson and jointly strategize on ACO Reach and IPA programs with Providers that are not currently engaged with Provider Engagement and that offer significant Growth opportunities for MVP.
+ Build business development concepts with CMSO and align with clinical and payvider strategies.
+ Support the Health Management & Growth teams on specific business development areas such as; onsite clinical staff at key health systems and growth partnerships with key providers.
+ Support the Growth team on all large RFPs and group sales presentations to represent clinical innovation and clinical strategies differentiating MVP.
+ Be well versed in all MVP clinical programs and strategies to assist Marketing and Communication in best positioning of MVP in the marketplace.
+ Work closely with the Product development team on innovative product design to support wellbeing and new clinical innovations.
+ Collaborate with the Sr Medical Director in the development of the lifestyle medicine programs and selection of vendors to build out marketing differentiation and go to market strategies in partnership with the Sr Director of Marketing Strategy.
+ Be the clinical lead for Growth and marketing team to “translate” new programs (clinical and wellbeing) into strong Marketing messages and campaigns to position MVP in the market and with key providers.
+ Work with the CMSO and President on broader Provider Partnerships including payvider models and new service offerings.
+ Represent Growth and bridge the Product and Growth strategic work with the Provider Engagement team and VP of Health Care Delivery.
+ Represent Health Mgt and work with Growth, Product and Marketing to support Provider Engagement on the Growth side for Market expansions, such as; CT expansion.
+ Provide clinical expertise and support collaboration between Utilization Management, Case Management, Appeals, and other departments.
+ Identify and implement initiatives to promote appropriate care quality, service utilization, medication utilization and adherence, care management, and cost control.
+ Support other key stakeholders through matrixed leadership.
+ Actively participate in MVP training and medical directors’ meetings and conference calls.
+ Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
