Job Summary
Michigan Medicine's Kellogg Eye Center is dedicated to improving lives around the world by enhancing vision. The University of Michigan School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track faculty position. Successful candidates are expected to have already established an independent research program in Visual Sciences with evidence of sustained funding. Applicants focused on all areas of vision research will be evaluated with particular consideration given to those studying neuronal development and function; regeneration/ restoration related to vision, neuro-inflammation related to blinding eye diseases, visual perception, or systems biology related to the retinal neurovascular unit. This is an outstanding opportunity, including the potential for a named Professorship for appropriate candidates.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
