    Vice President, Global Investigations

    Job Description Summary

    We are seeking a highly experienced and pragmatic VP of Global Investigations. This role requires an individual who has impeccable judgement, the ability to resolve complex investigations, and lead a global investigations team.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage a global team of investigators, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence.

    + Oversee and conduct high-quality, independent investigations into serious allegations of misconduct, ensuring adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct, and global legal/regulatory requirements.

    + Draft detailed investigation reports and present findings, recommendations, and remediation measures to senior leaders.

    + Remain respectful, diplomatic, and pragmatic in the face of difficult and uncomfortable situations surrounding investigations.

    + Compile investigation data and prepare presentations for various stakeholders, including the Audit Committee.

    + Analyze investigation data to determine trends and areas of ethics & compliance risk.

    Requirements

    + Substantial experience (15+ years) in managing and conducting complex/privileged investigations, preferably in a corporate environment.

    + Experience investigating a breadth of compliance matters (e.g., anti-bribery, trade compliance, conflicts of interest).

    + Experience managing a team of investigators.

    + Excellent organizational and analytical skills, in addition to a demonstrated record of cross-functional collaboration.

    + Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to prepare and deliver clear and concise executive presentations.

    + Professional presence and ability to interact effectively with executive management.

    + Capable of inspiring trust and confidence through effective communication and interpersonal skills with employees at all levels of the Company.

    + Strong work ethic and ability to produce high quality work under deadline pressures.

    + Ability to work effectively in a global environment, including an understanding of cultural differences.

    + Position is based in NYC or Chicago (Please note: working remotely is not an option for this role)

    + Reports to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer

    The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

     

    The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

     

    The compensation for the position is: $225,250.00 - $265,000.00
