    Position Summary...

     

    The WatchFree+ Programming & Operations team at VIZIO is looking for a Manager, Platform+ Content Operations to join us. Reporting to the Director of Platform Insights, WatchFree+ Partnerships, Content Operations, this role will oversee planning, execution and troubleshooting of content launches, updates and deprecations on the WatchFree+ platform within VIZIO’s SmartCast OS and mobile. This is a highly dynamic technical role within a growing and impactful Content Operations team at VIZIO. This role’s core focus is to develop and implement SOPs, improve efficiencies, act as a technical subject matter expert, and project manage scaling of the content offering. The Manager, Platform+ Content Operations serves as a subject matter expert to internal and external partners, and manages a team to ensure readiness, meet target deadlines for key processes (content delivery/ingestion, transcoding, ad breaks, QC/QA, EPG, artwork, metadata, etc.) and ultimately maintains content quality and process standards for the organization.

    Our Marketing Operations team is the backbone of Walmart's content and asset management, facilitating collaborations across various departments including Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Editorial. We aim to enhance vendor performance and streamline processes to drive efficiency and maintain high standards. This role is crucial in achieving our business goals and delivering value to our customers.

    What You’ll Do

    + Manage all deliveries, launches, and maintenance of content and assets for WatchFree+.

    + Oversee vendor relationships, including sourcing, contracting, and performance assessment.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely updates and ensure quality control.

    + Proactively identify and resolve issues affecting project timelines and quality.

    + Continuously improve process workflows and suggest solutions for bottlenecks.

    What You’ll Bring

    + Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and content operations.

    + Strong analytical skills to assess vendor performance and identify improvement opportunities.

    + Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    + Experience with CMS and digital content management tools.

    The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

    Minimum Qualifications...

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and 1 years’ experience in marketing operations, business management, or related field OR 3 years' experience in marketing operations, business management, or related field.

     

    2 years' experience using Microsoft Office tools (for example, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
