    Infrastructure Engineer

    The salary range for this role is $85k to $95k annually*

    **Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer – Automation / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a specialization in endpoint management automation. This role focuses on automating the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of servers, laptops, desktops, tablets, and BYOD using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Ansible, and PowerShell, with integrations via REST APIs and Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting and infrastructure management with a focus on creating efficient, scalable automation workflows.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Develop and maintain IaC-based automation scripts to manage endpoint devices and servers at scale.

    + Automate device enrollment, application deployment, patching, and compliance using tools like Intune, SCCM, Ansible, Autopilot, and Automox.

    + Create and optimize PowerShell, Python, and Ansible playbooks for endpoint lifecycle tasks and server configuration.

    + Leverage REST APIs for automation and integration with third-party platforms and monitoring tools.

    + Implement configuration management practices to enforce device standards and security baselines.

    + Work with cross-functional teams to ensure endpoint devices meet operational and compliance requirements.

    + Support and enhance automation for patch management, software updates, and device provisioning workflows.

    + Maintain documentation for automation procedures, configurations, and codebase.

    + Participate in post-deployment reviews and continuous improvement of endpoint automation strategies.

    Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

    + 5+ years of experience in endpoint or systems engineering with an automation focus.

    + Experience in an enterprise environment with device fleet management across multiple OS platforms.

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    + Extensive knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems

    + Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for device and endpoint automation.

    + Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot.

    + Practical experience with Ansible for infrastructure and endpoint automation.

    + Working knowledge of Python for scripting or API interactions.

    + Experience with REST APIs, especially for systems integration or reporting.

    + Familiarity with Automox, Patch My PC, or similar endpoint patching tools.

    + Understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoint configuration and management.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint issues.

    + Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    + Team-oriented and collaborative approach to engineering and operations.

    Preferred Experience (Nice to Have):

    + Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, or automation version control workflows.

    + Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, conditional access, or MDM policies.

    + API integration experience with platforms like ServiceNow.

    + Experience integrating monitoring platforms such as Zabbix and Grafana with automation workflows.

    + Experience with automating VMware environments (e.g., vSphere, vCenter) using PowerCLI, Ansible, or API scripting.
