Are you compassionate, reliable, and looking to be a vital part of a healthcare team? Join us as a Patient Escort, where your role directly contributes to patient comfort, safety, and care excellence.

In this position, you’ll work closely with the Manager and Director of Patient Transport to provide timely, safe, and supportive transport services for patients across the hospital. You’ll play an important role in creating a healing and respectful environment by helping to move, lift, and transfer patients with care and professionalism.

Schedule:

This position is a 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period) on the evening shift with an every other weekend rotation.

Every Tuesday and Thursday 1p-930p

Every other weekend 1130a-8p

+ Responsible for safe physical transfer and transport of patient on hospital premises.

+ Communicates appropriate information with others according to established procedures so that day-to-day operations are effectively conducted.

+ Exhibits excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, co-workers, community and referral sources.

+ Demonstrates knowledge of safety related work behaviors to ensure safe job performance and the maintenance of a safe work environment.

+ Utilize provided technology to accurately record Transport data.

+ Continuously improve interpersonal skills and relationships.

+ Ensure patient satisfaction by providing prompt and timely responses to all transport related tasks.

Required Qualifications

+ Must be able to maintain certification of Basic Life Support as necessary

+ Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
