    Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

     

    NBCUniversal’s Telemundo Enterprises is seeking a Research Analyst passionate about using data to uncover insights that drive digital content strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Cross-Platform Analytics, this role supports forecasting and performance analysis across Telemundo’s digital platforms, partnering with Digital, Finance, Marketing, and Programming to deliver forecasts, dashboards, and insights that inform content and business strategy.

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop forecasting models to support Finance with audience estimates for current and upcoming programming.

    + Analyze trends across content, platforms, and user behavior to support strategic planning.

    + Build and manage dashboards in Tableau or Domo for cross-functional teams.

    + Partner with engineering and BI teams to improve data quality and pipeline efficiency.

    + Deliver clear, actionable insights for executive reporting and presentations.

    + Support ad hoc analysis and planning across functions.

    Qualifications:

    + BA in a relevant field (e.g., Analytics, Finance, Data Science) and 2+ years of experience in data analytics or data products, preferably within media or digital environments.

    + Proficient in SQL and Excel; advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).

    + Experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards; familiarity with Domo and Snowflake is a plus.

    + Familiarity with digital measurement tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, comScore).

    + Knowledge of the entertainment industry and familiarity with Telemundo and Spanish-language programming.

    + Analytical thinker with a proactive mindset; Spanish language skills preferred.

    + Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills; effective across teams and organizational levels.

    Additional Requirements:

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
