Leidos’ Defense Systems Sector/Manufacturing has an immediate opening for a **Production Inventory Manager** candidate to join a multidisciplinary team to create unique solutions to complex challenges in our Huntsville, AL location. The ideal candidate will thrive in learning environments that encourage leadership and technical growth. As a core member of the production team, you will play a valuable part in supporting and executing a wide range of projects, while leveraging your financial expertise in the areas of financial planning and analysis (planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting).

Primary Responsibilities

+ Maintain optimal stock levels for contract requirements.

+ Avoid excess and obsolete inventory and tooling.

+ Forecasting demand requirements.

+ Coordinate with purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing.

+ Ensure new inventory is aligned with material budget and proposal cost.

+ Project inventory move from common to program direct per IMS.

+ Evaluate material actuals vs proposal vs forecast.

+ Managing unit cost per proposed vs actual.

+ Serve as interface between Production and Program.

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline with 5 years related experience.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts.

+ Has the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs and portfolios supporting.

+ Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently.

+ Must have Commercial experience and experience with revenue recognition.

+ Candidate must have hands-on inventory manager experience.

+ Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications; such as: Cost Point, Insight, OAC, Cognos and Fusion.

+ Proficient in Microsoft applications; such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word

Pay Range:

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
