Summary:

Meta is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead select external partnerships in the field of artificial intelligence. You will work closely with internal Research and Engineering Management teams to identify specific partnering requirements and opportunities, and then proactively work with external partners to enable collaboration to accelerate AI innovations.

Required Skills:

Business Development Manager, AI Partnerships Responsibilities:

1. Closely collaborate with AI Research and Engineering teams to identify and prioritize external partnering requirements

2. Coordinate and drive complex initiatives with select external companies, developer communities (e.g. Pytorch) and industry consortiums

3. Lead a broad internal cross-functional team to formulate, negotiate and execute complex partnership deals

4. Collaborate with and build a relationship with partner's leadership team

5. Represent partners’ context to internal AI product and engineering team stakeholders and management

Minimum Qualifications:

6. 10+ years of experience with managing and executing complex deals within technology companies

7. Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals, including experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements

8. Experience in working closely with product and engineering teams

9. Experience in developing and driving business strategies and initiatives with key stakeholders

10. Interpersonal skills and experience developing working relationships inside and outside an immediate team or partner organization

11. Analytical and problem-solving skills

12. Base level knowledge of the AI ecosystem including the technology, what large and small companies are doing, industry alliances, and broader government and regulatory positions

13. Bachelor's Degree

14. Experience with AI Infrastructure developer communities and open source projects (e.g. Pytorch, vLLM, Triton, ...)

15. Experience working with Semiconductor and AI Infra hardware companies

16. Experience managing and working in a complex cross-functional environment

17. Proven track record of collaboration and relationship-building with external partners

18. Experience defining, developing and leading programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

19. MBA or MSc

Public Compensation:

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
