    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Application Retirement Specialist with hands-on expertise in Solix to lead and support end-to-end legacy application decommissioning projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the data extraction, archival, and transfer, as well as developing custom views to ensure seamless access to archived data post-retirement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead and execute application retirement projects using Solix Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions.

    + Perform data identification, extraction, validation, and transfer to Solix archive repositories.

    + Collaborate with business and technical teams to develop custom views for archived data in compliance with user accessibility and regulatory requirements.

    + Ensure integrity and accessibility of archived data throughout the application decommissioning lifecycle.

    + Create and maintain documentation for data mapping, retention policies, and custom configurations.

    + Participate in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.

    + Provide support during UAT, cutover planning, and post-retirement validation.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in Solix-based application retirement or enterprise data archiving.

    + Strong understanding of data transfer methodologies, security, and governance.

    + Experience developing custom views or interfaces for data access post-archival.

    + Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

    + Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with legacy ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).

    + Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

    + Understanding of data retention and legal hold requirements.
