We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to work in our manufacturing facility in Dublin, GA. This is an opportunity to become part of a family team, in an expanding company with room for advancement.
What You'll Do:
The priority is to maintain the general operations of the production floor particularly as it relates to shipping product, i.e. preparing of pick lists, posting goods, inventory, ordering of supplies.- Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and safely. Ability to learn, and perform all duties required of the position.
What You'll Bring:
+ A High School graduate (GED) is required. An Associates degree is preferred.
+ 3+ years of work-related experience in office administration, or Customer Service/Relations or comparable experience is preferred.
+ The incumbent must be service oriented and have a working knowledge of computer systems i.e. Microsoft Office. SAP experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Processing of incoming bender files to ensure there is consistent work for the production floor.
+ Prepare Picking Lists for packaging.
+ Inventory and ordering of raw materials to include but not limited to quality claims for materials.
+ Process end of Posting of Goods for Production Processes.
+ Scheduling of shipments and coordinating with shipping vendors as needed.
+ Maintain and ordering of supplies to include office, safety, maintenance supplies.
+ Assisting in packaging area by sorting, picking, packaging orders, and making boxes as needed.
+ Participant in all production improvement projects.
+ Responsible for the identification of conditions which may vary from standard and alerts supervisor for resolution.
