Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Manager for the Global Industrial Solutions (GIS) team.
Seeking a strong, respected leader to develop Industrial Cooperation (IC) / offset solutions, ensure alignment across P&W and RTX, drive closure on P&W obligations, support campaign wins and keep programs sold in foreign countries. Industrial expectations and requirements are unique in each country and require a varied and entrepreneurial approach.
This position will be responsible for Industrial Cooperation (IC) programs with an emphasis on obligation execution and secondary support on campaigns. Position priority will be to work closely with the production and sustainment execution teams for obligation execution. The position will also support the capture team, airframe OEM's, and senior leadership to understand country requirements and develop and progress strategies and potential offerings to differentiate proposals; identify, negotiate and ensure execution of industrial obligations, and keep programs sold.
This position will report to the Associate Director, GIS, International Customer Solutions.
What You Will Do:
+ Regularly work with the Program Management Office, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Contracts, Engineering, and other P&W departments in support of developing and implementing Industrial Cooperation offerings.
+ Meet and represent P&W with high level foreign ranking officials and/or customers and suppliers.
+ Develop and lead the execution of Industrial Cooperation plans and Agreements – driving favorable results to the customer and EACs
+ Support proposals and projects to meet industrial cooperation requirements and support engine sales campaigns and fulfill Industrial Cooperation obligations.
+ Coordinate with and leverage other RTX divisions foreign presence and activities to support Industrial Cooperation requirements.
+ Implement Export License best practices in all foreign activities in support of Industrial Cooperation programs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in any combination of program management, supply chain management business experience in marketing/sales, and business development or experience managing budgets and prior EAC signature authority >$50M on fixed price contracts; or an advanced degree with 7+ years of similar experience.
+ Robust financial acumen to include Risk and Opportunity management, sales forecasting, and EAC management:
+ 4+ years of experience in material (production and/or engineering hardware) management. Inclusive of proposals, contract negotiation, contract kickoff through delivery and contract closure.
+ 4+ years of experience negotiating international contracts (customer or suppliers).
+ 2+ years of experience with International Business and on ITAR controlled programs and technology.
+ A business and finance background along with strong communication skills (written and verbal), experience with direct customer involvement at management levels, good executive level presentation skills.
+ Abiliity to travel internationally (up to 20%).
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ MBA
+ 4+ years of experience managing engineering and/or development material or scope in either program management or supply chain roles
+ 4+ years of experience managing outsourcing/supplier changes of critical materials in either an engineering PMO, or supply chain role
+ 4+ years of experience managing production pedigree material receipts and dispositioning supplier quality issues through production PMO and Configuration Change Board
+ Experience on an international cooperative program
+ Extensive international business experience, working with foreign governments
+ People skills, entrepreneurial capability, flexibility, and general business competence.
+ Previous experience in International Business Development and/or International Offset Programs.
+ Demonstrated experience in effective and successful negotiation skills.
+ Understanding international policy and knowledge of cultural sensitivities around the world.
+ Advanced leadership skills with the capacity to direct functional groups without having command authority.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
