    **What You Will Do** :

    + Provide IT systems administration for systems using Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems, including heterogeneous environments.

    + Work as a Team Lead in a fast-paced technological environment, providing guidance and assistance to less experienced members of the team.

    + Work with Security professionals to ensure compliance requirements are implemented and maintained. Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.

    + Develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.

    + Assist your supervisor/manager with resource management, identifying skills gaps, managing workloads, covering absences, and provide performance feedback.

    + Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date

    + Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, using troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues, including hardware and OS integration, while adapting to evolving challenges as part of a team.

    + 100% Onsite position, some local travel may be required.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.

    + Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    + Must have Windows and Linux systems administration experience.

    + Experience with one of the following: VMWare vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain desired.

    + Experience leading small teams.

    + Demonstrate experience with Red Hat Identity Manager

    + Experience with Ansible.

    + VMware highly desired.

    + Department of Defense Directive (DoD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) and an Operating System Certification. Ability to obtain 3 months.

    + Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.

    + Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions. Specifically Net App.

    + Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.

    The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
