    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTANT

     

    As our Accountant, you are the leader of our fiscal team. You create and maintain systems and policies for all our fiscal accounting and financial reporting needs. Among other duties, you safeguard our assets, ensure reliability in accounting data, promote efficiency in our operations, and encourage compliance with management requirements.

     

    As head of our fiscal department, you guide staff as they prepare budgets, provide records of expenditures, submit audits, operate payroll, and perform other accounting tasks. In addition, you supervise all fiscal staff, promoting a positive team culture. With your excellent communication and collaboration skills, you regularly attend meetings with our organizational leadership and present periodical financial reports. You get satisfaction from running an efficient department and supporting our organization's efforts to improve our community!

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration

    + Accounting experience, supervisory

    WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FINANCE DIRECTOR / COMPTROLLER

    This full-time position typically works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Remote work availability as requested.
