    **Work Schedule:** Monday-Friday

    **Amount of Travel Required:** 5-15%

    **Positions Supervised:** None

    The Fabricator/Welder position works on the manufacture/assembly team for the Company's food safety intervention solutions. This position focuses on the sanitary welding, fabrication and assembly of the framework, piping and cabinetry of the Company's products.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    The ideal candidate for the Fabricator/Welder role must be able to satisfactorily:

    + Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and engineering plans to construct high-quality parts and assemblies.

    + Utilize a variety of tools and equipment such as welders, cutters, sharers, C &C Machine and measuring tools to shape materials.

    + Inspect and test finished products for functionality and adherence to specifications.

    + Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

    + Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the manufacturing process.

    + Assist in the enhancement of fabrication methods, seeking efficiency and reduction of costs.

    + This position will assist with the electrical assembly, i.e. basic wiring, of equipment for customers.

    + Perform needed system testing before shipment to customer sites.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    YOUR MUST HAVES:

    + Must be 18 years of age or older.

    + 1 year previous welding experience GTAW (TIG) or GMAW (MIG).

    + Ability to comprehend documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating/ maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    + Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, algebra, and geometry.

    + Ability to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. Strong communication skills (oral and written).

    + Adaptability & flexibility - can change plans at the moment and make tactical adjustments appropriately. Remains calm and confident even in stressful situations.

    + Good work ethic and desire to produce high-quality products for our clients.

    + punctual and maintain a good attendance record.

    + Self-motivated and stay productive.

    + Possess a positive attitude and be able work within a team.

    + Be able to work overtime when required.

    + Must be willing to learn new skills.

    WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

    + Valid Welder’s certificate.

    + TIG/GTAW welding experience.

    OUR ENVIRONMENT:

    This position is based in our manufacturing plant environment. Expected exposure to wet, hot, cold, various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

     

    **Constant** (role requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)

     

    Use of fingers and hands. Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less & push/pull 12 lbs or less.

     

    **Frequently** (role requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day)

     

    Stand, climb stairs, walk, sit, reach outward, squat/kneel, bend. Lift/Carry 11-50 lbs & push/pull 13-40 lbs.

     

    **Occasional** (role requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day)

     

    Climb & crawl. Lift/Carry 51+ lbs & push/pull 41-100 lbs.
