_What Supplier Quality contributes to Cardinal Health_

This position provides leadership and guidance for the supplier quality engineering team. Will be responsible for developing goals, objectives, procedures, policies and systems that are aligned with company requirements and applicable for medical devices regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing the resolution of supplier quality/process issues, suppliers and components qualification activities. Ensuring a continuous supply of high-quality components and packaging materials to production and support product development to ensure the identification of quality-oriented suppliers with capable processes that will manufacture high quality products. Will ensure our customers’ satisfaction and patient safety.

_Qualifications_

Experience** **: 8+ years** **of relevant experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, or engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.

Education** **:** **Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field is required.

Certifications:** **ASQ certifications (CQE, CBA, SSGB, SSBB, Medical Device Auditor) are desired.

Communication:** **Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for effectively communicating with suppliers, internal teams, and management.

Collaboration:** **The ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams is crucial for successful supplier management.

Other:** **Experience with process validations, test method validations, data analytics is preferred. Managing of Finish Good Components Qualifications.

•** **Act as a coach of the direct team members and ensure appropriate development activities for them.
