    Job Description:

    Parsons is seeking a **Program Coordinator** to support Naval Medical Research Unit – San Antonio (NAMRU-SA) and its collaborating institutions in the coordination of research programs. NAMRU-SA’s mission is to improve survival, operational readiness, and safety of DoD personnel engaged in routine and expeditionary operations.

     

    The Program Coordinator will facilitate information flow between program members, Principal Investigators (PIs), and Department Heads. The role involves coordinating decision-making processes, overseeing project budgets, and tracking the progress of research programs to ensure successful completion.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    + Facilitate information flow between program members, Principal Investigators (PIs), and Department Heads.

    + Provide recommendations to the Government regarding contractor labor utilization, contractor workflow, and contractor operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall improvements to support this effort.

    + Coordinate the decision-making process between all contract personnel.

    + Coordinate and conduct in-house contract personnel actions and provide guidance and assistance to contract personnel as needed.

    + Oversee project budgets and materials acquisition related to research under contract to ensure successful project completion.

    + Aid in coordinating program monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

    + Track the progress of programs or projects for research performed under contract to ensure milestones and benchmarks are met.

    + Provide support in writing protocol-driven research proposals, animal use protocols, human use protocols, technical reports, final reports, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    + Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years’ related experience, or a Master’s degree plus demonstrable experience.

    + Demonstrated ability to facilitate information flow and coordinate decision-making processes.

    + Proficiency in overseeing project budgets and tracking program progress.

    + Strong skills in providing recommendations for contractor labor utilization and workflow improvements.

    + Excellent communication skills for coordinating reports and supporting research proposal writing.
