Job Description
Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product visioning, planning and development to deliver on our human + digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs.
As a Product Manager, you will:
+ Identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
+ Activate the connective tissue between U.S. Bank, customer experience, digital, technology, and business line strategy to identify and prioritize product / portfolio opportunities, and establish the product vision, charter and roadmap.
+ Defines product outcomes and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to prioritize Features/Epics and breaks down work into actionable steps to facilitate product discovery, design, development and delivery.
+ Manages the end-to-end product lifecycle and drives the product roadmap leveraging OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). Creates the product in conjunction with agile, experience design, technology and risk partners to achieve business and customer outcomes. In the case of technical products, understands and cares for the technical features, debt reduction and modernization of the technical product with expertise in the technology required of the product.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
+ Expertise on the critical interdependencies among product model system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results using business metrics, key performance indicators, design systems, service blueprints, and reusability.
+ Ability to anticipate shifting market priorities, internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
+ Strong customer centricity to implement strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization's products and services at every touch point.
+ Knowledge of technical aspects of software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.
+ Knowledge of Agile ways of working, knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
+ Preferred skills: product PnL, product strategy, vision and planning, product discovery, product development, channel alignment and management, adoption, customer experience research, insight and execution, agile ways of working, go to market and sales channels, performance measurement and optimization, marketing and analytics, customer centricity.
+ Proficient product management or similar experience driving the creation of new digital capabilities
+ Experience creating digital roadmaps
+ Strong background in financial services, specifically in credit cards or payment solutions
+ Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
+ Leadership experience

About the team/product (s):
As the Head of PCS Small Business Experience, you will be the senior product leader responsible for delivering an integrated, world-class cardholder experience across the full customer lifecycle — from application and instant use to onboarding, engagement, and spend management. Leading a team of Senior Product Managers, you will shape and execute the product vision, working closely with senior leaders across Digital, Technology, Finance, Platform, Legal, Compliance, Data Science, Analytics, and Program Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
+ Define and deliver the product vision and strategy, grounded in customer needs, competitive insights, and business priorities. Align cross-functional teams around a unified roadmap tied to strategic investments and OKRs.
Capability Development & Profitability:
+ Lead end-to-end capability development with a focus on speed to market, technical scalability, and profitability. Drive product-market fit, activation, engagement, and revenue growth.
Portfolio Management:
+ Manage new product development and reimagine existing experiences to maximize impact across all channels — digital and human — leveraging enterprise platforms to optimize costs and performance.
Customer & Market Insights:
+ Use research, analytics, and direct customer engagement to continually refine experiences. Apply a deep understanding of target segments to prioritize investments and feature enhancements.
Go-to-Market Leadership:
+ Partner with marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure successful product launches and sustained adoption across all customer touchpoints.
Performance Optimization:
+ Define KPIs, monitor performance, and lead optimization efforts to ensure products achieve business outcomes and deliver superior customer value.
Compliance & Risk Management:
+ Ensure all capabilities comply with applicable regulatory, legal, and security standards.
Leadership
+ Build and manage a team of Senior Product Managers to help deliver vision and roadmap.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Proven leadership in driving product strategy, technical enablement, and business outcomes.
+ Expertise in digital product management, lifecycle marketing, customer experience design, and financial modeling.
+ Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels — leading through influence across matrixed organizations.
+ Deep understanding of platform economics, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry trends.
Location Expectations
+ This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00 - $193,490.00
