Join Our Team as a Recruiting Specialist – Based in Jasper or Columbus, IN!
We're looking for a proactive and people-driven Recruiting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, source top talent, conduct interviews, and guide hiring decisions from start to finish. You'll also play a key role in onboarding and supporting the hiring process for Branch Operations staff across multiple locations. Strong communication and collaboration with the Recruiting Manager and hiring teams will be essential to your success.
*This role will support both our Jasper and Columbus branches and is expected to be on-site at either branch at least four days a week, with regular travel to the other location one day a week to conduct new hire orientations and support local hiring needs.
_Responsibilities_
+ Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
+ Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
+ Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
+ When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
+ Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
+ Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
+ Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.
_Required Skills/Abilities_** **_:_
+ Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
+ Professional communication and organization skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Access to insured and reliable transportation.
_Education and Experience:_
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
+ One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
+ Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

**_Compensation_** **:** $40,000 - $50,000 annually, based on experience
