    This is a full time **Pediatric Acute Care Speech Therapist** position. Population consists of a variety of inpatient conditions and diagnoses, infants through teen. Heavy dysphagia, feeding/swallowing and cardiac caseload as well as cognitive deficits including brain injury. Opportunity to perform or be trained on Modified Barium Swallow Studies. Three or more years' experience in acute care preferred. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

    Pediatric Speech Therapist** **Responsibilities:

    + Evaluates and develops plan of care to implement specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of the profession of Speech Language Pathology.

    + Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for therapists completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Speech Language Pathology students and volunteers.

    Requirements:

    + CCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathology)

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + Speech Therapy License

    + Required Master's Speech Therapy

    + Preferred Doctorate Speech Therapy
