JobResponsibilities

+ Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact\-finding to design, develop, modify, or integrate complex information systems\.

+ Devises or modifies application systems and procedures to optimize functional requirements including capacity, operating time, response time, and form of desired results\.

+ Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs, subroutines, andscripts\.

+ Develops and implements program/system test plans\. Devises data verification methods and standard system procedures\.

+ Responds to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems\.

+ May conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and support management in budgeting and purchasing efforts\.

+ Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process\.

Job Qualifications

Education

+ Bachelor’s degree \(U\.S\. or foreign equivalent\) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of experience\. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, will accept one year of technical experience for each year of requested college education in addition to the experience requirements listed\.

Experience

+ 5 years experience with Cloud and hybrid systems\.

+ 5 years programming experience\.

+ 3 years experience designing data infrastructures to comply with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Transparency in Coverage mandate\.

+ 3 years experience with machine readable files\.

+ 1 year experience with Python and PySpark\.

+ 1 year experience with IT concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards\.

Skills\\Certifications

+ Strong proficiency in AWS and GCP cloud platforms\.

+ Able to generate and consume big data files using AWS Glue, Google BigQuery, Parquet, Avro, and Iceberg\.

+ Experience using ELT tools and worklfows including EventBridge and Google Batch\.

+ Demonstrated success in leading large and complex projects\.

+ Advanced technical experience in a specialized area of applications systems analysis and programming\.

Job offer contingent upon satisfactory background check, tobacco/nicotine test, and drug test\.

HOURS: 40 hours per week \(9:00 AM – 5:00 PM\); Mon– Fri\.
