_*This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state to Minnesota and live 50-miles or less from the primary/principal work location. Effective June 1, employees living within 50 miles of the office location listed above will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. For those who live 50 or more miles away, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance are eligible to telework up to 100% of the time._

Under the direction of the Early Childhood Mental Health System Coordinator and under the supervision of the Children’s Community Based Services Supervisor, the Early Childhood Mental Health Liaison in this position is responsible for supporting the grant management, training activities and outcome data collection for the State’s Early Childhood Mental Health System.
Domain of responsibilities includes:
+ Under the direction of the Early Childhood Mental Health System Coordinator and Community-Based Services Supervisor provide grant management support to the Early Childhood Mental Health Infrastructure Grants, Early Childhood Mental Health Training Grants and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Grants
+ Under the direction of and in partnership with the Early Childhood Mental Health System Coordinator support the training of early childhood mental health professionals and clinical trainees across the State.
+ Under the guidance of the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Coordinator, work with the State’s contracted early childhood mental health consultants to collect needed outcome data.
Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience demonstrating expertise with government grants and/or contract competencies.
Experience must clearly demonstrate:
+ Basic knowledge of contract and grant management practices, including assisting with or supporting the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
+ Awareness of how government agencies work together in the grant process—particularly the roles of county, tribal, state, and federal entities.
+ Experience or familiarity with reviewing or negotiating contract terms with organizations, contractors, or grantees.
+ Strong research and data analysis skills to help identify best practices, monitor outcomes, and spot trends or inconsistencies in data.
+ Organizational and project support skills, including tracking program activities, monitoring grant budgets, and preparing summaries or presentations on program progress
+ Knowledge of Early Childhood mental health system.
**_*Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, public health, or another related fields may substitute for one (1) year of work experience_** _._
Preferred Qualifications
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
+ Knowledge of Minnesota’s Human Services Behavioral Health Programs and/or delivery systems.
+ Experience presenting data.
+ Engagement and outreach skills to negotiate a variety of interests to reach consensus.
+ Strong human relations and communication skills; communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing; respond openly to requests and concerns.
+ Experience organizing or supporting online trainings, including scheduling, managing and tracking participant communications, and coordinating virtual meeting platforms.
