Become a part of our dynamic Wisconsin leadership team as the Associate Director, Market Development. The Associate Director, Market Development, is responsible for all growth-related initiatives and communications to iCare and Inclusa Medicaid products. The Associate Director, Market Development requires a solid understanding of Medicaid product enrollment process and growth strategies, including RFP development.
The Associate Director, Market Development is responsible for developing market-level business development and organic growth plans, marketing and communications, and community partnerships. Ensures that the health plan is meeting or exceeding corporate Medicaid performance benchmarks surrounding growth. Maintains relationships with regulators within a region. This market executive role is accountable for cultivating strategic partnerships both internally and externally, with government partners, and other key stakeholders to secure increased opportunities for growth. This position will establish the overall direction, identifying and defining the most important initiatives for the market to obtain organic growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement comprehensive market communication strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
+ Develop and drive market level strategies to enhance retention, and achieve market leading organic growth in existing products
+ Pursue and manage community investments that support state programming for Medicaid members and position us as a key partner
+ Establish and advance ongoing practices throughout existing and anticipatory markets to understand community needs and build relationships with local and state leaders.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content that drives market and membership growth.
+ Oversee the production of high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
+ Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for communication enhancement.
+ Maintain websites for iCare and Inclusa
+ Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
+ Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure the delivery of effective communication initiatives.
+ Ensure all communications comply with regulatory standards and align with the organization’s values and mission.

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 3 or more years of marketing/communications experience
+ 3 or more years of healthcare or managed care experience
+ Must reside in the State of Wisconsin
+ Demonstrated management experience and partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
+ Proven planning, preparation and presentation skills
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
+ Proficiency in marketing and communications
+ Comprehensive knowledge of Medicaid policies, processes and procedures
Additional Information
+ **Workstyle:** Home Hybrid: Associates Home office environment is their primary work location where the majority of their work week will be spent, but they will use Humana office space occasionally for collaboration and other face-to-face needs.
+ **Travel:** 25-35% throughout the State of WI- attending in person meetings, conferences
+ **Typical Work Days/Hours:** Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm CST

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
