Our client, a tooling manufacturer is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to join their team.

**Job Title:** CNC Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

**Location:** Brookfield, WI

**Pay Range:** $40/hr

What’s the Job?

+ Diagnose operating problems on all varieties of regular and complicated machines and equipment using diagnostic tools such as voltage meters, ohm meters, phase rotation testers, micrometers, torque wrenches, gauge blocks, precision squares, oscilloscopes, and laser equipment.

+ Work from drawings, specifications, and schematics to perform skilled fitting of bearings and spindles and align machine components.

+ Perform a wide variety of electrical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems, equipment, and apparatus. Lay out and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in accordance with codes.

+ Contact outside vendors or service technicians as needed to obtain information regarding problems with machines or controls.

+ Perform necessary millwright duties to install and wire new equipment or to remove old equipment.

What’s Needed?

+ Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance duties, including setting up and operating machine tools to produce repair parts.

+ Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, shop routings, and specific engineering notes related to unique customer specifications.

+ Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.

+ Basic math and trigonometry skills.

+ Certifications in OSHA programs and practices preferred.
