    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or similar)

    • In-depth experience with networking security protocols such as IPsec, MACsec, MKA, TLS/SSL, and IKE, including:

    o Fundamental understanding of each standard, including their respective use-cases and benefits within the automotive industry

    • 8+ years of software development experience

    • Object oriented programming and proficiency in C+ · Implementation experience developing software compliant with these standards

    • Experience with embedded Linux including developing and maintaining custom Linux distributions and optimizing for performance and security.

    • Understanding of good software design and computer architecture principles including:

    o Data structures

    o Familiarity with embedded, kernel or low level hardware/software integration

    o Operating system components and design

    • Experience with Agile methodology.

    • Experience with testing frameworks.

    • Demonstrated ability to:

    o Problem-solve effectively - diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions; enjoy problem solving

    o Take initiative, be a self-starter, and work independently

    o Persistently drive tasks and projects to successful completion

    o Take ownership of goals and project schedules

    o Listen attentively and grasp fast-paced technical conversations

    o Quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products

    o Passion for learning about and working with computer-industry technologies

    Strong work ethic and drive to succeed · Work productively in a team development environment

    • Innovative, out of the box thinker.

    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

    • Familiarity with Yocto, OpenEmbedded

    • Experience integrating 3rd party and open source IP

    • Experience with Azure DevOps

    • Experience programming in LabVIEW
