Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a heavy machinery technician to support our customer located in Chesapeake, VA. The candidate will be responsible for operating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting heavy, hydraulic equipment. They must have 3-5 years of experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. The candidate will be tasked with working around low voltage DC systems as well as operating digital gauges, flow meters, and operating basic, handheld tools. The salary range flexes between $20-$26/hr.

Skills and Requirements
3-5 years of experience.
Experience using PLCs and HMIs.
Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities on heavy machinery equipment.
Experience working with hydrostatic drive systems.
Experience reading machine schematics. Previous experience working with CAT or Cummins heavy machines.
Perfect fit: former aircraft mechanic, diesel mechanic, or big rig truck mechanic. null
