    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for an EHS Specialist in the San Jose, CA (1) & Phoenix, AZ (1) area.

     

    Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other applicable state and federal regulations.

     

    Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

     

    Monitor and ensure compliance on construction sites and during electrical work.

     

    Deliver safety training and toolbox talks on topics such as fall protection, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and electrical hazard awareness.

     

    Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and safety violations; recommend corrective actions.

     

    Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety.

     

    Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and prepare reports for internal and external audits.

     

    Assist in preparing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and safety documentation for project approvals.

     

    Stay current with updates to safety laws, regulations, and best practices.

     

    PR: $25-35/hr

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

     

    5+ years of experience in construction and electrical safety roles.

     

    In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other local/state/federal regulations.

     

    Certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30/OSHA 510, NFPA 70E, or First Aid/CPR are highly desirable.

     

    Strong communication, leadership, and training skills.

     

    Certified DOT HazMat/HazWaste Ground Shipper per 49 CFR 172.704(c)(2) (facility waste stream management)

     

    Experience in Emergency Response Teams and site Security measures

     

    Expert level knowledge with EHS processes (e.g. Incident Management, Compliance Management, JSA/Risk Management, Inspections/ Audits, Sustainability Reporting)

     

    Ability to work on-site and travel as needed. - CSP null
