Our client, a leading player in the foodd industry, is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to join their team. As a Health & Safety Specialist, you will be part of the safety department supporting a culture of safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Health & Safety Specialist
**Location:** Franklin, Wisconsin
**Pay Range:** $80,000 - $93,000
What's the Job?
+ Support OSHA compliance and local regulatory requirements by serving as the site expert.
+ Drive a safety-minded culture by leading the occupational health and safety program.
+ Manage health and safety programs, including Emergency Response and safety audits.
+ Conduct and facilitate OSHA required training and certifications for employees.
+ Oversee safety reporting systems and incident investigations to prevent recurrence.
What's Needed?
+ Minimum Associate’s Degree in occupational health & safety or related field (preferred).
+ At least 2 years of relatable experience in occupational health & safety.
+ Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation claim management.
+ Ability to create and manage safety programs in a large facility.
+ Experience in onsite audit preparation and establishing corrective actions.
