• REMOTE z/OS Systems Programmer

    Job Description

    A customer is seeking a fully remote z/OS Systems Programmer.

     

    - Installation, testing, and implementation of new operating systems and other system software.

     

    - Maintenance and debugging of systems software, Coordination with other technical teams (CICS, Database, Network, Hardware/Storage)

     

    - Monitoring and tuning of systems software

     

    - use of z/OS components and detailed knowledge of support products such as tape management, scheduling, security, monitoring systems, and other z/OS supporting systems software.

     

    - We are not looking for an application programmer

     

    - Can pay- $60-65/h

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7+ years of experience working withing Mainframe

     

    - extensive experience using z/OS components

     

    - Sysplex programming

     

    - Perform skillsets as a mainframe system programmer

    - Experience performing installs - ISV Installations null
