Jefferson Wells is partnering with our Premier Client in Kane County to hire a **Sr Tax Accountant with S-Corp and Partnership** tax expertise **.**
+ Location: Aurora/Naperville Area
+ Work Type: Contract to Hire or Interim Consultant
+ Compensation: $40 - $60/hour depending on experience level
+ Start Date: Around June 16
Responsibilities
+ This role is responsible for managing the Federal income and State income, sales, and property tax compliance function for multi-entity and private U.S. entities from research to accounting and return preparation, including assistance with internal and external tax advice and service
+ Prepare accurate and timely filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns and other business-related filings of company and affiliates, as needed
+ Assist in providing tax advice and service to Company its principals, affiliates, and joint-venture entities
Qualifications
+ Preferred Education: BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting
+ Familiarity with SAP, Corptax, and research tools
+ 5-10 years of experience in related field is preferred.
+ S- corporation and partnership tax knowledge
+ Knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for S- corporations and partnerships
+ Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements
+ Familiarity with SAP, Corptax, and research tools
