    Psychologists are encouraged to consider a consulting opportunity with Liberty Healthcare Corporation and the California Conditional Release Program.

     

    The mission of the California Conditional Release Program is to safeguard the public by preventing re-offense among court-ordered sexually violent predators who are placed in the community.

     

    Program services include evaluation, sex offense-specific treatment, intensive supervision, case management, 24/7 GPS monitoring, and risk assessment services.

     

    Liberty Healthcare seeks to contract with a California-licensed Psychologist to conduct patient evaluations onsite at the Coalinga State Hospital in Coalinga, CA.

     

    This work will involve evaluating patient’s progress in treatment and identifying factors that may preclude patients from conditional release.

    Specific responsibilities will include:

    + Working on an as needed basis at mutually agreeable times

    + Traveling to the Coalinga State Hospital for onsite meetings

    + Evaluating patients through face-to-face meetings

    + Reviewing patient files and meeting with treatment staff

    + Writing summary reports

    + Invoicing for travel expenses and services provided

     

    You can expect to be paid $500.00 for each completed evaluation and you will be reimbursed for approved travel expenses.

     

    You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally in California as a Psychologist and have at least three years of experience evaluating sexual offenders.
