Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Student Internis responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist. Radiology Student Interns are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What you will do in this role:

+ Performs X-rays of patients maintaining a high quality of care.

+ Assists in transporting and positioning patients.

+ Ensures patient safety.

+ Maintains accurate records.

+ Maintains supplies and inventory.

+ Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Currently enrolled in an accredited school of radiological technology as a _second-year student with clinical experience._

+ BLS.

TriStar Summit is a 230+ bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services.
