Atrium Hospitality is currently recruiting a Banquet Bartender for our Banquets department. Join a team of Embassy Suites employees who are passionate about servicing guests, one another all while taking care of the people who make it happen, our associates. The hotel has 283 suites and has 6000 sq. ft. of event space. It is conveniently located in Norman with less than 30-minute commute to and from the center of Oklahoma City.

Why Banquets?
Banquet Associates are the bread and butter of our meeting and event operation. The primary purpose of the Banquet Server/Setup is to provide our guests with an excellent banquet experience. With the opportunity to witness and work with all the exciting groups we host in our convention center; no day is the same in our banquets department. If you love spontaneity, this is the department for you!
Work Performed:
The Banquet Bartender is tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
+ Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following standard recipes to ensure established control systems are followed.
+ Promote food and beverage sales.
+ Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests.
+ Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.
+ Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time, complete closing duties.
+ Ensure the cleanliness of the bar.
+ Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
+ Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
+ All other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
+ Previous customer service experience.
Preferred Prior Experience:
+ 6 months of bartending experience.
+ Prior bar and/or restaurant experience.
Preferred Education:
+ High School diploma or equivalent **.**
Required Licenses/ Certification:
+ Cleveland County Food Handler Certification, Oklahoma ABLE Liquor License, TIPs/RServing/ServSafe.
+ Alcohol or equivalent alcohol server certification acquired upon hire during onboarding.
Physical:
+ Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly.
+ Ability to bend and squat repeatedly.
+ Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift.
Availability:
+ Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
