About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join our Financial Crimes Operations (FCO) Product & Transformation Team. This role will be part of our Product and Risk, Control & Testing Team.
The Product Team consists of product owners who manage the software lifecycle of multiple applications/tools within the Financial Crimes Operations Product Team. The product owners are responsible for ensuring that these applications/tools are compliant with Wells Fargo standards while meeting the needs of their respective users, business groups, and enterprise functions. Responsibilities include partnering with technology, scrum teams, and the operations teams, to resolve defects and bring enhancements into production; this includes writing requirements, user stories, hosting user acceptance testing (UAT) and production validation. The product owners are the primary or back-up Application Business Owner (ABO).
The Risk, Control & Testing Team is responsible for identifying and mitigating risk within the greater Financial Crimes Operations Product & Transformation organization. This team is dedicated to supporting the FCO Product & Transformation’s Risk Accessible Unit (RAU) and are responsible for participating in RCSA activities, identifying issues, creating and supporting corrective actions to see them through sustainability, and supporting all testing engagements for the RAU. Additionally, this team is responsible for control creation, deployment, and ownership of the controls. This team works very closely with the product team.
The selected candidate will be skilled at leading strategy sessions to define, implement and oversee their respective programs. The role requires the aptitude to understand and design the end-to-end operational process, collaborating with our business and technology partners, and escalating keys risks and challenging decisions.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives.
+ Work with key stakeholders to identify issues, create corrective actions, create, and implement effective controls to mitigate risks.
+ Lead risk assessments, control evaluations and audit/regulatory responses
+ Develop and implement policies, procedures and best practices related to product lifecycle and risk management
+ Track and monitor program deliverables, key milestones, and compliance with internal and external requirements
+ Support financial planning, investment tracking, and resource allocation routines tied to product delivery
+ Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
+ Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
+ Influence, guide, and lead less experienced staff within the group.
+ Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance.
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ 3+ years KYC/Financial Crimes experience - Beneficial Ownership, CDD, EDD, Screening, etc.
+ 3+ years of direct experience in issues management, corrective actions, control design, control execution, or RCSA support.
+ 3+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, product development, strategic planning, process management, and/or change delivery experience.
+ 3+ years of experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and production validation.
+ 3+ years working in or with lean and agile software delivery teams.
+ Demonstrated experience creating and managing roadmaps, strategies, and products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery.
+ Lead the development and execution of complex business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Demonstrable experience of engaging executives and other stakeholders to support important business decisions.
