    Are you an enterprising and innately curious content writer with business acumen who can cut through the noise, adapt quickly, and distill key points clearly and concisely? The AWS 3PX Customer Experience, Communications, and Adoptions team is seeking a Content Writer to join the GDSP (Global Deal Strategy & Programs) Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX).

     

    In this role, you will partner with a team of content strategists, subject matter experts, and producers to create and maintain content that outlines guidelines, processes, and best practices.

     

    As a Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in executing on content strategy to drive the adoption and growth of the Private Pricing Program. In this role you will periodically audit Private Pricing content, leverage detail-oriented writing skills to continuously innovate and enhance our enablement assets. You will lead efforts on the Private Pricing content catalog with clear, concise, and contextual content that addresses the specific needs of our audiences. Your work will have wide reach, and benefit both internal audiences (e.g., AWS field) as well as external (e.g., AWS partners and customers). Through this work, you will play an instrumental role in building the Private Pricing Program brand, driving awareness and adoption, and increasing deal count and velocity.

You have high standards and present meticulous, impactful work through efficient operations and project management. You habitually work back from the customers’ needs and pain points in defining, prioritizing, and inspecting work. You are focused and organized, and can deliver on time in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy communicating concisely and influencing others to drive your vision. You thrive on measuring success by impact (vs. size of effort), and continuously inspect both approach and output to incrementally raise the bar over time.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Create, curate, and maintain enablement content to support our Private Pricing Program initiatives

    • Define and create content to be featured as part of the AWS Private Pricing content catalog to benefit internal and external audiences

    • Produce web content, job aids, and training material to outline program mental models, processes, and bet practices

    • Self-learn new concepts and topics quickly in order to be able to speak to them in the produced content

    • Partner with internal subject matter experts to gain deep expertise and guidance as needed

    • Program-manage own work and build mechanisms to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

    Basic Qualifications

    - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

     

    - 3+ years of experience in content writing and driving initiatives in a large and complex organization

     

    - 3+ years of experience using data and metrics to inform and drive improvements

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Master or Advanced Degree in English, Knowledge/Content Management, or a related field

     

    - Editorial background with exceptional proofreading and content creation skills

     

    - Experience in developing or editing multimedia (images, videos)

     

    - Experience in content authoring tools

     

    - Experience with hosting live instructor-led training

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
