    Description

    Amazon’s Direct Fulfillment (DF) business under Unified Alternative Fulfillment (UAF) allows vendors to ship products directly to our customers. We are the shipment source for all direct fulfillment shipments. We track these shipments from the moment a customer order is placed to vendor shipping it to customer. In short, our systems orchestrate and fulfill the direct fulfillment shipments worldwide.

    Key job responsibilities

    You will be responsible for designing the system, building the software, and working with the team to deploy your solutions across the globe. This role will provide you an unique opportunity to impact customer/vendor experience world wide. This role will present you an opportunity to learn new technologies including AWS and apply them at scale.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

     

    - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

     

    - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
