Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Staff Digital Engineering Systems Architect** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
The individual will have the ability to analyze architectures and develop various DODAF or SysML Viewpoints in support of this effort. Designs and develops system architectures and defines key capabilities and performance requirements in creating and maintaining the Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE). The candidate will be developing visualizations and merging data sets across functional disciplines to bring more visibility to the end users within the program by developing analytical interfaces for data presentation. This individual will also support development of thread integration plans and procedures and maintain technical cognizance of software tool interdependencies and maturity of ICDs for identifying and resolving gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist in development of system architectures.
+ Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies.
+ Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
+ Perform system requirements analysis.
+ Automation workflow development of multi-disciplined functional processes in support of various engineering and business processes.

• **Basic Qualifications (Staff Digital Engineering Systems Architect):**
+ Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 8 year of related professional/military experience.
+ Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
+ Must have experience in Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE), particularly in aerospace systems.
+ Must have experience collaborating across engineering disciplines to architect, design, or implement complex systems.
Preferred** **Qualifications:
+ Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering.
+ Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architecture and the Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
+ Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred.
+ Experience developing various DODAF views, especially Operational and Functional viewpoints, using MBSE tools like Cameo.
+ Experience integrating hardware and software in a lab environment.
+ Experience using the Atlassian Suite.
+ Experience in Digital Ecosystem design and maturity.

Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
