    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel at managing high volumes of invoices, corporate reimbursements, and payment workflows while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process a high volume of vendor invoices weekly, ranging from 200 to 300, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

    • Manage travel and expense (T& E) reimbursements along with corporate credit card reconciliations for approximately 30 cards using Concur.

    • Prepare and execute payments, including organizational checks and wire transfers, in compliance with company policies.

    • Utilize QuickBooks Online and Tipalti systems to streamline accounts payable workflows and maintain detailed records.

    • Perform basic data tracking and reporting tasks using Excel to support financial analysis and decision-making.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries promptly.

    • Ensure adherence to company accounting standards and maintain compliance with financial regulations.

    • Assist in the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including processing high volumes of invoices efficiently.

    • Proficiency in Concur and QuickBooks Online, with familiarity in Tipalti being a strong advantage.

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accrual accounting and account coding.

    • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid schedule, with three days onsite and two days remote.

    • Skilled in using Excel for data tracking and reporting purposes.

    • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and automated clearing house (ACH) processes.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial workflows.

    • Comfortable handling corporate credit card reconciliations and T& E reimbursements.
