Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your accounting knowledge and technical expertise while contributing to a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

• Manage accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.

• Reconcile financial statements and bank accounts to ensure alignment and accuracy.

• Process payroll and verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Prepare detailed financial reports utilizing QuickBooks and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting workflows and enhance efficiency.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of financial statements.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.

• Assist with audits and respond to inquiries related to financial documentation.

Requirements • Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, advanced Microsoft Excel functions, and other accounting software.

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with manufacturing industry accounting practices is a plus.

• Previous experience supporting audits or handling tax-related tasks is advantageous.
