Description

Our client is an established and respected regional law firm with sophisticated work and top tier Attorneys. They are looking for a dedicated mid-level litigation associate to join our commercial litigation practice in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on a range of complex legal matters, providing meaningful contributions to client representation and case strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients effectively in both state and federal courts, ensuring their interests are advocated for at every stage.

• Communicate with clients regularly to provide case updates and explain legal processes in a clear and meticulous manner.

• Develop case strategies by thoroughly analyzing applicable laws, regulations, and precedents.

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.

• Prepare case files and evidence for court appearances, ensuring all materials are organized and ready for litigation.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation, offering support and contributing to strategic planning.

• Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions to resolve disputes effectively and in the client’s best interest.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or civil litigation.

• Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive documents.

• Strong analytical skills to assess complex legal issues and develop sound strategies.

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and legal teams.
