Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced paralegal to join our boutique law firm in Downtown Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex litigation and a proven ability to manage all aspects of case preparation and support. This role requires excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills to assist attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage case files and documentation, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible for litigation purposes.

• Assist attorneys in reviewing documents for privilege and prepare detailed privilege logs.

• Conduct thorough discovery processes, including document review, production, and analysis in complex litigation cases.

• Prepare deposition outlines and materials, ensuring all necessary information is compiled and ready for legal proceedings.

• Obtain and analyze records such as medical and employment files, and create detailed chronologies from various sources.

• Locate and coordinate with expert witnesses, providing them with relevant documentation to support case strategies.

• Maintain a working knowledge of court rules across multiple jurisdictions to ensure compliance with legal procedures.

• Utilize document and case management systems to track deadlines, filings, and other critical case details.

• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external parties to facilitate smooth case progression.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on complex litigation.
