    Description

    Are you an experienced accounting professional eager to bring your expertise to a collaborative and fast-paced finance team? We are working with a dynamic organization seeking a Senior Accountant to play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and providing actionable financial insights across multiple entities. This position reports directly to the Assistant Controller and will work cross-functionally to support both finance and business teams.     + Safeguard the integrity and accuracy of financial data by recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions.

    + Prepare and post journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses, ensuring proper support and analysis.

    + Reconcile and maintain subsidiary accounts by reviewing, allocating, and resolving discrepancies in account entries.

    + Manage the general ledger by transferring balances, preparing trial balances, and ensuring year-end close compliance.

    + Compile financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other key documents to summarize financial performance.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical accounting, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for process improvement. Desired qualifications include:

     

    + A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).

    + CPA Certification preferred.

    + 4+ years of accounting experience, with specific expertise in job/project costing and revenue recognition valued.

    + Solid technical accounting skills, with a strong foundation in GAAP compliance and best practices.

    + Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

    + Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and project accounting software is a plus.

    + Highly organized, focused on accuracy, and capable of delivering timely results in a deadline-driven environment.
