Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to streamline and modernize system workflows to support business objectives. This position will contribute to major projects, including the modernization of legacy systems, cloud migrations, and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

+ System Design and Architecture: Create and implement system architectures that address both current operational needs and future growth, with a focus on scalability and alignment with business goals

+ Integration Management: Work across departments to integrate new technologies, streamline workflows, and replace fragmented or outdated systems

+ Technical Debt Reduction: Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems, reduce technical debt, and optimize cross-departmental technology platforms

+ Cloud and Automation Projects: Partner with IT teams to manage cloud migrations, AI and machine learning initiatives, and other automation processes designed to enhance business operations

+ Performance Monitoring and Upgrades: Regularly monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement updates or refinements to maintain optimal efficiency and security

+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business analysts, and leadership to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines

+ Documentation and Reporting: Develop documentation for system configurations, workflows, and processes, and create reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

+ Proven experience in systems architecture, implementation, and maintenance across various platforms.

+ Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

+ Experience with modernizing legacy systems and reducing technical debt

+ Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and automation technologies

+ Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex issues independently and collaboratively.

+ Exceptional communication skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience implementing scalable frameworks for system modernization and transformation

+ Strong business analysis expertise with the ability to translate technical concepts and build consensus across departments

+ Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
